SKIN RENEWAL - A Combination Therapy
This combination therapy was developed by Advanced Laser
Clinics to offer patients a unique, age defying combination therapy.
The following before and after photos were one treatment
into a series of LightPulse® Skin Renewal Combination Therapy
treatments performed by Advanced Laser Clinics of Tri-Cities. None
of the candidates were wearing makeup during the photo sessions. We
recommend a series of five LightPulse Skin Renewal treatments. This
will give your skin a good start to resolving its extrinsic aging
challenges.
A Microdermabrasion is performed about one week prior to
the IPL treatment. This treatment exfoliates the stratum corneum,
enhancing and bringing the target chromophore closer, making it an easier
target for the IPL treatment. In addition, the microdermabrasion
aids in improving the appearance of skin texture, fine lines, pore size,
and sun damage. It also allows the skin to easily absorb the topical
skin regimen that the DreamMakeover participants are using at home during
the treatment series.

| The key issues with Joni's face
are pigment related. In this case, the IPL energy is absorbed by the
pigmented cells. The heat vaporizes the moisture in the cell and the
cell shrinks. Once reduced to this shrunken state, the cell
fragments flake off or the body absorbs and eventually lightens the
